History Camp Heart to Heart was formed in 1999 for children living
with
HIV/AIDS and was dedicated in honor and memory of Lion Tom Welker, PDG.

What
is Camp
Heart to Heart?
Camp Heart to Heart is a collaboration between Lions Camp Crescendo, Inc., and other Louisville HIV/AIDS service organizations (KALA, House of Ruth, AIM of Kentuckiana, etc.). Camper
Eligibility:
Children, ages 5 - 12 who are living in the shadow of HIV or AIDS. This includes kids who have HIV/AIDS, those who have a HIV+ family member, or who have lost a loved one to AIDS. Camp Objectives:

- FREE
This is possible through private and corporate donations, and grants. Donations help defray expenses related to this project. All donation are tax deductible, if you want to help. Checks should be made payable to Lions Camp Crescendo Inc. and designated for Camp Heart to Heart in the lower left corner of your check. Camp Schedule: Campers arrive on Tuesday, before noon - June 17, 2008. Counselors arrive at 10:00 am on Monday, June 21, 2008 Location

Swimming, Fishing, Arts & Crafts, paddle boating, Scavenger Hunt, Services include:
Counselors
are volunteers and many return year
after year. Background
checks are required. The camper to counselor ratio is approximately 3
to 1, or as needed.
